Dr. Rouse is a 1985 graduate of the University of Missouri. After a short stint in Carthage, Illinois, he spent the next 25 years in his own clinic, a mixed animal practice in Willow Springs, Missouri. Dr. Rouse joined the team at Grant Pet Hospital in October 2013. Dr. Rouse and his wife have two grown children. He lives in Springfield along with their dogs Reggi and Rosie.

Dr. Rouse enjoys working with young people and is active in his church and in Scouts. He also likes to hike and kayak in the forests and streams of southern Missouri.
